The largest flooring manufacturing company in Europe, Kahrs was the first company to be granted the patent on multi layer parquet boards in 1941. This advance was the basis for the modern processes that make the product totally stable in most conditions, even for instance, in conservatories and over under floor heating.

Kahrs products benefit from having the toughest lacquers doing away with the need for overly thick coatings that can give a plastic effect to the floor finish. The machining is state of the art and with the introduction at the end of 2001 of their new 'Woodloc' joint, floors are now locked together with virtually invisible joins. Perfect results are obtained every time that last the lifetime of the floor. All floors come with a thirty-year guarantee on multi layer boards and 12-year guarantee on the Linnea floor range. All floors can be installed floating over most sub floors or fully bonded if need be.
